Peyer's patches are specialized lymphoid follicles found in the lining of the small intestine, particularly in the ileum, and play a critical role in gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT). They serve as key immune surveillance sites, monitoring intestinal contents for pathogens and foreign antigens. Composed of B cells, T cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells, Peyer's patches are covered by a unique epithelium containing M cells, which sample antigens from the gut lumen and present them to underlying immune cells. This process initiates immune responses, including the production of immunoglobulin A (IgA), which neutralizes pathogens and toxins without triggering inflammation, maintaining gut homeostasis. By distinguishing between harmful pathogens and harmless commensal bacteria or food antigens, Peyer's patches help prevent infections while avoiding unnecessary immune reactions that could lead to conditions like inflammatory bowel disease.
Beyond their role in local gut immunity, Peyer's patches contribute significantly to systemic immune health. They act as a training ground for immune cells, priming them to respond to pathogens that may breach the gut barrier and enter the bloodstream. The IgA produced in Peyer's patches can also circulate systemically, providing broader immune protection. Additionally, they support the development of immune tolerance to beneficial gut microbiota and dietary components, reducing the risk of allergies or autoimmune disorders. Dysfunction or imbalance in Peyer's patch activity can weaken immune defenses or lead to chronic inflammation, underscoring their importance in maintaining both gut and overall immune health.
Consider that Peyer's Patches are not even remotely utilized in an injection for any (non oral) vaccine. without proper stimulation of payers patches in the immune response one could predict that immunity would be less long lasting and less broad, and it is.
Consider also that Glyphosate is doing damage to this very same mucosal immunity through damage to bacteria that line these payers patches in mucus.
Deteriorating and bypassing(through vaccines/iv's etc.) the lining of the gut is not only detrimental to our absorption and elimination, it destroys the most potent form of immunity to illness we have.
I have never been more convinced of the importance of proper lymph and digestive movement as i am today.

Just to follow up with you about my client dealing with leukemia. She is home now and doing much better!!!
Once the a fib and the edema calmed down, I started doing the blood recipe. I gave her bl, Li, and Sp finger holds for homework and finger holds for the blood recipe. She lives in minnesota, so I probably will only be working with her by phone coaching, her on what she can do.
She is very open to TKM but feels limited in her ability to work on herself.
I appreciate you sharing any other suggestions.
I wrote in notes from the 1&2 class that when clearing a VN that's stuck, to put left hand on the number that is 1 higher than the stuck VN and right hand on the number that is 1 lower. But then my example is the opposite. Just wanted to double check.
Another question, do you have any thoughts on MTHFR gene affecting things? Is it worth it to get tested for it?

I am working with a client with leukemia. She is between chemo treatments because she developed pneumonia. I am working on building her immunity so she can resume chemo. Last night she started developing tingling in btm of her feet and vision changes. It's possibly chemo induced neuropathy?
She is also having episodes of a fib
She received potassium and magnesium ivs yesterday.
I was thinking 3 MOC, #9, #23. Do you have any other recommendations?
